  • Ultraviolette has decided to go global seeing other EV players and is ready to showcase the F77 racer electric motorbike.
  • The manufacturer claims the bike's 307 km driving range on a single charge.

Ultraviolette Automotive, a Bengaluru-based electric motorbike manufacturer has announced plans to participate in the EICMA 2023 planned to start from 7th November onwards. This participation is happening in the wake of taking the brand to the global market and making its big debut in the European market. The brand is all set to unveil the international-specific Ultraviolette F77 on 8th November but it’s still unclear as to how distinctively the electric performance motorcycle will be compared to the model in the Indian market.

EICMA takes place in Milan,Italy and is considered as one of the biggest two-wheeler shows globally. And way before Ultraviolette decided to take part, India two-wheeler giants namely, Hero MotoCorp and Royal Enfield are among regular attendees in these global unveilings. In a year's time of being launched in India, the Ultraviolette F77, the company's first product, is now making its way to other countries. This F77 model by the brand holds top-rank as India’s most powerful electric motorbike. And it’ll be quite interesting to see something new and chic that the company might bring forward at the EICMA other than the F77.

The motor of the Ultraviolette F77 electric motorbike, which is headed for India, produces 30.2 kW (40.4 bhp) and a maximum torque of 100 Nm. The bike can only go from 0 to 60 kmph in 1 minute and 2.9 seconds, with a maximum speed limit of 152 kmph. With a claimed range of 307 km on a single charge, the 10.5 kWh battery pack is the largest on any Indian electric two-wheeler to date.

With the increased craze and major shift towards EV vehicles, these EV vehicles are quite taking the stage in global automobile shows. And with this similar zeal, EICMA will be a great platform for Ultraviolette to go global and showcase their EV vehicles.

And if we talk about the showcases, one can expect the F77 to be the showstopper of the EICMA, whereas the F99 race bike revealed earlier at the Auto Expo Show 2023 is likely to be witnessed on display. The company will also be having its battery, chassis, and powertrain technologies on display through the dedicated ‘UV Space Station’ zone.
