The company has shown a new top-spec Fortuner Diamond Edition, that will first go on sale in South American markets.
The car is based on the top-spec Fortuner sold in Argentina, where it is called the SW4. You get a unique 18-inch alloy wheel design, slightly darkened chrome accents on the grille and a faux-brushed aluminium-finish skid plate on the front bumper. The cabin features tan leather seats and a faux-bronze finish on the centre console, a 10-speaker JBL sound system and a unique white-and-gold finish key fob.
Mechanically, there are no changes, the car uses the same 2.7-litre petrol motor available in the South American market. For now, there’s no information on whether Toyota will launch the Diamond Edition in India.
