Toyota has launched the BS 6 compliant Toyota Fortuner in the Indian market. The SUV has been launched at Rs 28.18 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Identical to the older BS 4 version, the prices of the new BS 6 Toyota Fortuner remains unchanged. It will be competing with the likes of Ford Endeavour, Mahindra Alturas G4, and Isuzu MU-X.

This BS 6 model is offered with 2.7L petrol and 2.8L diesel engines. Along with this, a six-speed automatic gearbox is also offered but only on the 4X4 trim. It also offers a host of safety features. These include 7 airbags, hill assist control, vehicle stability control accompanied with brake assist along with ABS with EBD.

This seven-seater SUV flaunts leatherette upholstery, a power-adjustable driver & front passenger seats, auto-dimming internal rear-view mirror along with auto climate control as standard.
