BMW has launched the 530i M Sport ‘Carbon Edition’ at Rs 66.30 lakhs (ex-showroom) in the country. The vehicle will be locally produced at BMW Group Plant, Chennai. Interested buyers can book the new exclusive edition through shop.bmw.in from today onwards.
BMW 530i M Sport ‘Carbon Edition’: Design
In terms of design, the new BMW 530i M Sport Carbon Edition gets the brand’s signature kidney grille upfront. In addition, it gets slim full-LED Adaptive headlights and distinct wheel arches. The rear end of the vehicle boasts of L-shape light graphic that emerges from the taillight. The exclusive edition is offered in Alpine White color.

The cabin of the BMW 5 Series Carbon Edition boasts of driver-focused cockpit design. The feature highlights include a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument display, a bigger 12.3-inch Control Display, wireless Apple Carplay & Android Auto connectivity, Harman Kardon Surround sound system with high-end 16 speakers. Other features include electrically adjustable Sports Seats with perforated Sensatec covers, M Sport leather steering wheel, ambient lighting package with six dimmable designs, four-zone automatic climate control with extended features and SYNC function, and welcome light carpet. The safety kit comprises six airbags, ABS with brake assist, dynamic stability control that further includes dynamic traction control & electronic differential lock control, electric parking brake with auto hold, ISOFIX child seat mount, attentiveness assistance, cornering brake control, side-impact protection, emergency spare wheel, electronic vehicle immobilizer, and crash sensors. The car further gets the driver assistance system such as reversing assistant, BMW virtual assistant, 360-degree surround view, remote-control parking, BMW gesture control, and parking assistant.

Performance-wise, the 5 Series Carbon Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that churns out a top power of 251 bhp and a peak torque of 350 Nm. The motor is further mated to an 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox. The vehicle can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in a mere 6.1 seconds.
