Tata has silently launched AMT equipped petrol Tigor at ₹5.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The AMT variant will be available in two trims, XTA and XZA and only for petrol variant. Tata took a silent route and updated its website with price and details instead of a regular launch event.
As we said earlier, Tata’s Tigor AMT is only available with the petrol 1.2 litre Revotron engine. This engine makes 85hp and 114Nm of torque. The Tigor AMT in two higher-spec trims – XTA and XZA – priced at ₹5.75 lakh and ₹6.22 lakh. When compared to similar trim models, the AMT makes it around ₹40,000 more expensive.
The Tigor AMT will go head on against the Maruti Dzire AMT, Honda Amaze CVT and the Ford Aspire automatic.
