Svitch Group, an Ahmedabad-based electric two-wheeler startup has announced the official launch of the brand-new CSR 762 electric bike, over a year after it was first declared. The brand unveiled the production-ready Svitch CSR 762 in October 2023 and now has declared its introductory price at INR 1.90 Lakh (ex-showroom). The brand-new motorbike is going to be the very first in class equipped with a 40 L space for a helmet in the front of the bike. The brand suggests the bike's top speed to attain 120 kmph and a single-charge driving range of 190 km.

Possible customer base can easily pre-book the CSR 762 e-motorcycle even at a minimum price of INR 1. The company’s official website even suggested that it has already received 12,000+ orders till now. Customers can expect the deliveries to start from August this year as confirmed from the brand's end. The CSR 762 e-motorbike is offered in 3 distinct color options and acquires an LED daytime running light up front. The e-motorcycle is all powered by a 3 kW (4 bhp) PMS electric motor that generates a maximum power of 10 kW (13.4 bhp) at 3,800 rpm. The maximum torque stands at 165 Nm and drops down to 55 Nm and reaches a peak speed of 120 kmph. This bike gets two 3.6 kWh lithium-ion swappable batteries with a single charge claimed range of 190 kms. The driving range has been upped by 30 km since the time of its announcement of production version in October 2023. Svitch suggests the e-motorbike does not need liquid cooling and employs air cooling technology for the motor and other important components of the vehicle.

The brand suggests that it has commenced the EOI or expression of interest campaigns and aims to choose high-interest cities to open dealerships to refine overall accessibility to possible customer base. The brand has earlier declared its strategy to establish outlets in cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad in the starting.
