  • There are two versions of the Suzuki Jimny 5-door available: GL and GLX.
  • The Indian and Philippine versions of the Jimny 5-door are the same.

With the off-roader shipped from India to the nation of SouthEast Asia, Suzuki Philippines has introduced the new Jimny 5-door to the market. The Suzuki Jimny 5-door will be offered for sale alongside the Jimny 3-door model, which is currently available for purchase. This is the brand's first launch of the year.

The Suzuki Jimny 5-door's GL MT variant costs 15,58,000 pesos, or approximately INR 22.99 lakh, while the GLX AT variant costs 16,98,000 pesos, or approximately INR 25 lakh. For the sub-4-meter SUV, customers will need to shell out an extra 10,000 pesos to have the dual-tone finish. GL MT models cost 12,58,000 pesos, or approximately INR 18.56 lakh, while GLX AT dual-tone models cost 13,30,000 pesos, or approximately INR 19.63 lakh, for the Jimny 3-door.

The Jimny 5-door retains the same unique appearance as the India-spec model, including a boxy silhouette, alloy wheels, and a vertically stacked grille. Regarding features, the GLX model comes equipped with auto leveling and LED headlights as standard. Halogen lights will be fitted to the entry-level GL variant in its place. The GLX's cabin has a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, whereas the GL's only has a 7-inch unit. It has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. In addition, the SUV has leather seats, an audio system with automatic climate control, four speakers, toggle switches on the center console, and more.

The model sold in India and the Philippines' version of the Jimny 5-door are the same. The 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine produces 130 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm and 100 horsepower at 6,000 rpm. A 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission—available only on the top-spec GLX—can be mated to the motor. The off-road vehicle comes equipped with selectable 4WD, or AllGrip Pro, which provides power to all four wheels.

The safety list includes dual front airbags, a reverse camera, parking sensors, hill-start and hill-descent control, electronic stability control, brake assist, and ABS with EBD. Only the GLX trim level in Suzuki Philippines is equipped with side front airbags and front and rear curtain airbags. In addition to Granite Gray Metallic, Sizzling Red Metallic with Bluish Black Pearl, and Chiffon Ivory Metallic with Bluish Black Pearl are the dual-tone options for the SUV. Other colors include Jungle Green, Arctic White Pearl, Celestial Blue Pearl Metallic, and Granite Gray Metallic.
