Pre-bookings for the scooter for all customers will commence on January 27, 2024. Customers can get their hands on the new scooter by paying a token amount of INR 1,947. However, existing buyers who have already booked the Simple One can switch to the Dot One from January 1st next year.

Simple Energy claimed that the new electric scooter is fully manufactured in India. The new electric scooter is based on the Simple One, but it will also come with a smaller and fixed battery set. The company is offering the Simple Dot One in six color schemes: Grace White, Namma Red, BrazenX, LightX, Azure Blue, and Brazen Black. Simple Energy will also offer a special pair of tyres that will further increase the overall range of the scooter. The tyres are tubeless, measure 90-90, and cover 12-inch wheels. The scooter will come equipped with an e-motor that can generate 8.5 kW of peak power and 72 Nm of peak torque. The new scooter can sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.77 seconds.

The Dot One electric scooter was earlier priced at INR 1 lakh, but this amount was only available to a few customers. Although the two-wheeler maker has expanded its portfolio, it is still facing problems with deliveries.

The Simple One scooter has several features, including a touchscreen instrument cluster and a combi-braking system. It comes with an under-seat storage capacity of 35 liters. Suspension duties on the scooter are performed by telescopic forks in the front and a monoshock at the back. At both ends, there are disc brakes for braking duties.
