Royal Enfield to Surge Price of Himalayan 450 from January 1

Royal Enfield is all set to increase the price of the Himalayan 450 in January 2024. The two-wheeler maker launched the Himalayan 450 at the 2023 Motoverse last month. The Himalayan Base Kaza Brown variant is available at a starting price of INR 2.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The prices for the top-line Summit trim’s Hanle Black and Kamet White paint schemes go up to INR 2.79 lakh and INR 2.8 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

The Himalayan 450 motorcycle is powered by a 450-cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 40 bhp and a peak torque of 40 Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The new motorcycle comes equipped with advanced features, including a 4-inch TFT screen, smartphone connectivity for navigation, red-by-wire, and switchable ABS.

The new motorcycle is available in two riding modes: Eco and Performance. The Himalayan 450 comes with a newly designed twin-spar frame. The motorcycle's suspension consists of an adjustable monoshock and 43-mm USD forks, both providing 200 mm of travel. It has a ground clearance of 230 mm, and the user-friendly stock seat is 825 mm. Also, the seat can be raised up to 845 mm, or with the help of optional low-seat accessories, it can be lowered up to 805 mm.

Customers who are planning to book the Himalayan 450 via showrooms before the end of this month can get this new motorcycle at the current introductory prices as the company is planning to implement a price hike on the Himalayan 450. If any buyer books the Himalayan 450 on January 1st, 2024, but chooses a different color in the new year, then they can only get their selected variant at the new price. However, if one chooses to opt for a different color before the end of this month, then they can get the new Himalayan at the current prices.
