  • The upcoming motorcycle will get a circular instrument cluster.

Royal Enfield is gearing up to make a new addition to its lineup with the launch of the new Hunter 450 motorcycle. The brand is currently developing new bikes to expand its lineup. The auto giant unveiled the Himalayan 450 motorcycle at Motoverse last year, and the adventure tourer received a lot of praise. Royal Enfield is all set to unveil the Hunter 450 in the Indian market, and a few spy shots of the bike have been circulating on social media. The motorcycle has been spotted testing on Indian roads.

The auto giant is expected to unveil the new motorcycle by the end of 2024. The upcoming bike is likely to be priced lower than the Himalayan 450. The Hunter 450 will share some elements with the Himalayan 450. The spy images reveal that the 450 motorcycle will come equipped with a new pair of alloy wheels, which hints that the bike will get tubeless tyres. The Himalayan 450 bike also comes with tubeless tyres, but due to the unavailability of tubeless spokes in the domestic market, the manufacturer has to utilize tubes.

The Royal Enfield Hunter 450 is likely to be powered by a 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that churns out 39 bhp of power and 40 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

In the Hunter 450, the long-travel suspension and up-side-down forks that are also integrated into other Royal Enfield bikes have been replaced with telescopic front forks. The rear monoshock, on the other hand, has been retained. Braking duties are performed by discs on both ends. When it comes to safety features, the auto giant will offer a twin-channel anti-lock braking system in the forthcoming motorcycle. The camouflage does not have a bash plate to guard the lower part from speed breakers.

The Hunter 450 gets a roadster-like design. The footpegs are set in the middle, and the handlebar is also integrated accordingly. The motorcycle looks fit enough to be used for daily commutes and even on highways. It retains the same headlamp and turn indicators as the Himalayan 450. The bike will get a circular instrument cluster and it is going to be a city-friendly alternative to the outgoing Himalayan 450 adventure tourer.
