The CEO and co-founder of Ola Electric, Mr. Bhavish Aggarwal, has posted on his social media handle that for the cruise control feature, he might start charging a subscription fee from Ola EV scooter owners. These further hints suggest that the owners might have to pay extra for owning an Ola electric scooter.

The cruise control system automatically manages the speed of any vehicle by taking over the throttle. Bhavish Aggarwal shared a video on his social media handle. In the video, a man is seen riding an electric scooter at a constant speed with the help of cruise control technology. Cruise control technology allows scooter owners to ride the scooter at a steady speed without touching the accelerator.

Earlier this year, Ola Electric revealed four concept electric bikes set to launch in the Indian market over the upcoming years. The company is also planning to enter the electric motorcycle and car segments. In the electric market, Ola sells three e-scooters: the S1 Air, the S1 X, and the S1 Pro.
