Ola Electric has announced today that it has reduced the cost of its electric scooter range for February. The electric scooter manufacturer has dropped the prices of the S1 Pro, S1 Air, and S1 X+ e-scooters by up to INR 25,000. After the price cut, the S1 Pro is available at INR 1.30 lakh, while the Ola S1 Air is now priced at INR 1.05 lakh. The S1 X+, on the other hand, is offered at INR 85,000. All prices are ex-showroom. Notably, the new prices are only valid until the end of this month.
The Chairman and Managing Director at Ola Electric, Mr. Bhavish Aggarwal, took to his social media channel and confirmed that the company is slashing the prices of its electric scooter. This discount offer is in effect starting today, i.e., February 16. He wrote, "You asked, we delivered! We're reducing our prices by up to Rs 25,000, starting today, for the month of Feb for all of you!! Breaking all barriers to #EndICEage! Valentine's Day gift for all our customers."
Ola announced a similar discount offer in January as well. Last month, the company offered a discount of INR 20,000 on the S1 X+ electric scooter, whereas customers who bought the S1 Air and S1 Pro benefitted from an exchange bonus of INR 3,000 and an extended warranty of up to INR 6,999.
The company has recently introduced an 8-year/80,000 km warranty on the battery set of the Ola S1 Air and S1 Pro e-scooters. The EV maker will also provide an extended warranty of 1 lakh km for an extra INR 5,000 and a 1.25 lakh km extended warranty for INR 12,500. The Ola Chairman, Bhavish Aggarwal, stated that, “We are offering the longer warranty at no extra costs… the warranty will be transferable if the ownership changes. Users will also have the option to extend the warranty up to 1,25,000 kilometres at an extra charge.”

By the end of 2024, the EV maker is hoping to deploy around 10,000 electric two-wheelers throughout three cities in India. Ola is also aiming to expand its operations nationwide. The company claims that it now has the biggest electric two-wheeler fleet in the country. Ola is also working on e-motorcycles, which are scheduled for later this year. Ola has introduced four bikes in India: the Roadster, Adventure, Diamondhead, and Cruiser. As of now, the manufacturer has not confirmed which motorcycle will be launched first.
