The mXv ECO scooter is being offered by electric vehicle startup mXmoto for an initial price of INR 85,000 (ex-showroom). This EV comes in two variations: a standard model with a range of up to 100 km and an extended model with, according to the manufacturer, a range of up to 120 km on a single charge. The latter's highest speed is limited to 100 kmph, whereas the former's top speed is 70 kmph. Three riding settings are available for the mXv Eco: Eco, Comfort, and Sport.
The EV has a neo-retro look and comes in four color options: Jet Black, Royal Blue, Sacramento Green, and Garnet Red. It also has a huge silver-finished grille and a silver apron.
A 3.2 kWh LiFePO4 battery and a 3,000 Watt electric motor with 140 Nm of peak torque power this EV. The battery can be fully charged in about an hour, according to the manufacturer. The front disc brake and the rear drum brake are both responsible for stopping the vehicle.
It has a 6-inch TFT digital instrument display with on-board calling, navigation, and a bluetooth sound system as features. Other features include self-diagnosis/auto repair, regenerative braking, a 38 AMP controller, detachable batteries with all-LED lighting, circuitry, reverse assist, cruise control, and parking assist. It has a storage box fixed on the back as well.
The regular range variation of the scooter costs INR 85,000, ex-showroom, while the top-end extended range model costs INR 95,000, ex-showroom.
