The Italian luxury carmaker, Maserati revealed the GranTurismo at the 2017 Goodwood Festival. Maserati has launched the GranTurismo in India at a price of Rs. 2.25 crore (ex-showroom). The production model has been restyled but it continues to accentuate the spirit of GranTurismo Concept.
The GranTurismo has been designed by Pininfarina. The new SharkNose hexagonal grille adds an axonometric effect to the front of the car. The lower air ducts and redesigned rear bumper give the car a very iconic look. There is an 8.4-inch capacitive touchscreen at the centre which is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Harman Kardon sound system is standard on both Sport and MC versions. Moreover, four adults can comfortably sit in the luxury sports car. The seats are wrapped in Poltrona Frau leather.
Powering the car is a naturally aspirated 4.7-litre V8 engine which churns out 460 HP and 520 Nm of torque. The V8 powerplant is mated to a 6-speed ZF automatic gearbox. The engine of this car is hand assembled at Ferrari's Maranello facility. The car gets multiple driving modes which can be changed by the press of a button.
