Maruti Suzuki Recalls 5900 Super Carry Over Faulty Fuel Filters

Maruti Suzuki has made a voluntary recall for its LCV 'Super Carry' over possible faulty fuel filters. The company would start calling customers whose vehicles are suspected to be affected by the problem from 26th December itself. Moreover, affected vehicles brought in would be inspected and the faulty fuel filters would be replaced free of cost.
 
A total of 5900 Super Carry vehicles have been recalled. Vehicles manufactured between 26th April and 1st August, 2018 are affected by the fuel filter defect while customers who replaced their vehicles fuel filter in this period would also need to send in their vehicles.
 
Customers can check for themselves whether their Super Carry is affected by the recall or not by visiting the company's official website, marutisuzuki.com. Here, the customers can fill in their chassis number in the 'Important Customer Info' tab and get details for their vehicle.
 
Maruti Suzuki entered the commercial vehicle segment in 2016 with the launch of the Super Carry. The Super Carry competes with the Tata Ace in the commercial vehicles market.
