Mahindra India has declared that it will offer free roadside assistance (RSA) and other benefits to its customers who are affected by Cyclone Michaung. The company will provide free roadside assistance, financial relief, and damage assistance via special discounts. Mahindra has advised its customers not to start the cars affected by the Chennai floods, as that could further increase the damage. One can contact Mahindra’s service team at 1800 209 6006.

Mahindra will provide free roadside assistance within 50 km. The affected vehicles will be towed to the nearest authorized workshop. The company has provided this service to all Mahindra customers, including those who do not have an active RSA. The service team will not charge any fee for doing comprehensive inspections. Mahindra’s support initiative will be accessible until December 31, 2023. Additionally, the company is offering a reduction on the repair invoice's customer liability section.

Apart from Mahindra, other auto manufacturers like Volkswagen and Audi are also offering free RSA to their customers. Volkswagen is also providing a service check for vehicles that are affected by the cyclone. Customers can contact the Volkswagen service team at 18004191155 or 18001021155. Volkswagen will make sure that all its dealerships have enough staff, supplies, and spare parts to provide prompt maintenance and repairs.

Mahindra is going to increase the prices of its cars due to higher commodity prices and rising inflation. The company will implement the price hike in January 2024. Just like Mahindra, other car makers like Tata Motors are also planning to implement a price hike in January 2024. Tata Motors has also announced that its vehicles will become more expensive starting next year. India’s biggest automaker, Maruti Suzuki, announced that the decision to surge prices has been taken due to growing operational costs and rising production.
