Jaguar Land Rover has launched the Metropolitan Edition of Discovery at a starting price of Rs 1.26 crore (ex-showroom). The SUV offers a host of interior and exterior upgrades. This further gives the vehicle an on-road appeal. All the Jaguar Land Rover vehicles are available in a total of 21 cities through 25 authorized outlets in the country. These include Ahmedabad, Bengaluru (3), Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai (2), Coimbatore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kochi, Karnal, Lucknow, Mumbai (2), Noida, Pune, Raipur, Surat, and Vijayawada.
The 2022 Discovery Metropolitan Edition is built on the purposeful R-Dynamic HSE specification. The design bits include Hakuba Silver lower bumper inserts, black Land Rover brake callipers, 20-inch Satin Dark Grey wheels, a fixed rear panoramic roof, and a sliding front sunroof.
The cabin of the all-new Discovery Metropolitan Edition boasts of a plethora of features. These include a 12.3-inch interactive driver display, front cooler compartment, wireless charging with phone signal booster, heated steering wheel, and four-zone climate control. In addition, the vehicle also gets heated and cooled rear seats, an intelligent seat fold technology, a powered seat recline, and advanced Cabin Air Purification with PM2.5 air filtration. Furthermore, the cabin gets Titanium Mesh trim detailing.

Performance-wise, the new Metropolitan Edition comes with both petrol and diesel engine options. Having said that, the P360 Ingenium petrol engine churns out 355 bhp power and 500 Nm peak torque. The D300 Ingenium diesel engine, on the other hand, generates 296 bhp power and 650 Nm peak torque.
