Like other high-end car manufacturers, Lamborghini has revealed the official launch date for their long-awaited Revuelto on 6th December in India. It will be the brand's new flagship supercar directed for the Indian market. It is named as Revuelto and is a successor of the classic model, Aventador. Lamborghini Revuelto is brand-new if and when compared to the classic model of Aventador. And, now the premium carmaker has outed the launch date as 6th December for the premium supercar.

Lamborghini has preserved the naturally aspirated V12 engine for this Revuelto model but it still is a brand-new model developed from the ground up. It is a 6.5L unit that churns out 813 bhp at 9,250 rpm and a peak torque of 725 Nm at 6,750 rpm. The engine's 9,500 rpm redline is a screamer. The new engine is quite light weight by around 17 kg when compared to the V12 engine equipped on the Aventador. And it is just 218 kgs.

The engine comes coupled to a brand-new eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. And, in this model, the transmission is positioned behind the engine making it mounted transversely.

Other than the engine specs, the gearbox is also coupled with 3 electric motors. This means 2 electric motors are attached to the front axle and one is attached on the gearbox. This design makes the Lamborghini Revuelto an all-wheel drive. The model doesn’t have any reverse gear. As an alternative, torque vectoring is made possible by the front electric motors, which also function as the reverse gear.

The electric motors are powered using a 3.8 kWh battery pack that is attached between the centre console. The rear motor also behaves similar to the generator and starter motor. And the battery pack can easily be charged up to 7 kW electric current and takes only half hour to get completely charged. Other than this, the V12 engine can charge the battery package within a span of just 6 minutes.

And, now, the car can churn out a total peak torque of 1,015 hp. Lamborghini Revuelto can get to a top speed of around 350 kmph and can reach a maximum speed of 100 kmph from 0 kmph in a mere 2.5 seconds.
