Hyundai Alcazar has registered more than 11,000 bookings since its launch on June 18, 2021 in the Indian market. The South-Korean automaker has sold over 5600 units of the 7-seater SUV till date in the country. The company claimed that one third of the overall bookings are for the top of the range Signature variant. Furthermore, the diesel variants accounted for 63 percent of the total bookings received so far. Hyundai Alcazar rivals the likes of Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV500 in India while priced in a range of Rs 16.30-19.99 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi).

The Alcazar SUV is offered in three grades namely Prestige, Platinum and Signature. It can be availed in both 6-seater and 7-seater configurations in petrol as well as diesel fuel trims. Commenting on the remarkable bookings performance, Mr Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said, “Hyundai ALCAZAR has received an overwhelming response from customers with over 11 000 Bookings received in less than a month since its launch. Flaunting Hyundai’s global design language of ‘Sensuous Sportiness’, Hyundai Alcazar comes loaded with a plethora of bells and whistles in the form of 10.25-inch Multi Display Digital Cluster, Bose Premium Sound System with 8 Speakers, Auto Healthy Air Purifier with AQI Display, Front Row Seat Back Table with Retractable cup-holder & IT Device Holder, Front Row Sliding Sunvisor, Side Foot Step and Rear Window Sunshade. Mr Garg added, “So far we have already sold over 5 600 units of Hyundai ALCAZAR in the market and with the addition of this 6 & 7 Seater SUV to our line up, we are now offering our valued Indian Customers a stellar range of multiple SUVs which will help us to further fortify our SUV leadership in India.”
