Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), one of India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers, recently celebrated the first anniversary of its most affordable motorcycle, the Shine 100. HMSI announced that the Shine 100 has marked a new sales milestone of 3 lakh units in just one year. To celebrate this achievement, the two-wheeler giant also organized mega delivery events of the Honda Shine 100 motorcycle in several cities across India.

The Honda Shine 100 commuter has impressed several consumers with its impressive fuel efficiency, reliable performance, excellent value for money, and simple styling. The popularity of the motorcycle has helped HMSI witness tremendous growth in the 100-110cc segment in the financial year 2024, with more than 3 lakh Shine 100 units sold to date. Additionally, the company's sales and service network in the country, spanning over 6,000 touchpoints, helps the company reach buyers in rural and urban areas and ensures a more peaceful ownership experience. The sales figures are remarkable considering that the Honda Shine 100 rivals against well-known competitors in this market, such as the Bajaj Platina 100 and the Hero HF Deluxe.

In the Indian market, the Honda Shine 100 is available at a price of INR 64,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). HMSI has strategically positioned its entry-level motorcycle as part of the “Shine” family. The motorcycle benefits from the iconic Shine nameplate, which holds strong resonance in semi-urban and rural locations. In addition, Honda offers the Shine 100 with a 10-year warranty package, which includes a seven-year optional and three-year standard warranty.
