Maruti Suzuki has launched the BS6 compliant CelerioX in India. BS6 Maruti CelerioX is priced in the range of Rs 4.90 lakhs - Rs 5.67 lakhs (ex-showroom). Amid the ongoing lockdown that has been implemented across the country, Maruti has listed the new CelerioX on its website and has launched it virtually. Compared to the BS4 model, the BS6 CelerioX has witnessed a price hike of Rs 15,000. The hatchback is available in four variants namely VXI, VXI (O), ZXI and ZXI (O).

Maruti CelerioX BS6: Engine Specifications

Under the hood, the CelerioX is powered by a BS6-compliant 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that churns out  66 bhp power @ 6,000 rpm and 90 Nm torque @ 3,500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard and a 5-speed AMT transmission as an option.

Maruti CelerioX BS6: Exterior Features

Being a rugged-looking hatchback, the CelerioX is slightly longer and wider than its predecessor. Cosmetically, it gets black plastic cladding on either sides, bumpers, and skid plates. Maruti CelerioX also features a dual-tone bumper with circular fog lamps, new blacked-out B-pillar and ORVMs along with black roof rails and alloy wheels.

Maruti CelerioX BS6: Interior and Safety Features

As for interior features, the cabin of 2020 Maruti CelerioX remains similar to the outgoing model. It boasts of an all-black interior scheme with white accents, giving it a sportier look. Other highlighted features include a new 7-inch SmartPlay 2.0 infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. It also comes packed with a host of safety equipment. These include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seat belt alert and speed alert.
