Moving towards the greener and cleaner future, Audi recently showcased their various models at the Brand Experience event which was held at Singapore. Audi is planning to launch various electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles by 2025.

The German giant has aimed to sell 8 lakh units of fully electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles by the year 2025. They are also trying to merge the electric and plug-in hybrid technology with their Quattro powertrain. Audi took up the Audi.Vorsprung.2025 strategy in which they will launch an electrified variant of every model.

The Road E initiative of Audi saw the production-ready version on the e-tron prototype. The second fully electric car the Audi e-tron Sportback will be launched in 2019 and then it will be followed by the launch of Audi e-tron GT in 2020. In 2020 Audi will also offer an electric model in the premium compact segment.

By 2025 Audi will bring more than 20 electric models and for this, the company has invested heavily in its facility at Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm both in Germany. Audi has partnered with Volkswagen and Porsche to make this Road E initiative a successful one. This type of venture will assure that the companies will diversify their portfolio successfully along with reducing the developing cost and speeding up the electrification process.
