Force Motors has finally launched the much-anticipated Gurkha at a starting price of Rs 13.59 lakhs (ex-showroom) in the country. The bookings for the SUV have commenced at a token amount of Rs 25,000. While the delivery of the vehicle will begin in the week following Dussehra.

2021 Force Gurkha: Exterior

Design-wise, the 2021 Force Gurkha comes with several changes. Upfront, the SUV flaunts a bold and aggressive look with a new grille. In addition, it gets circular bi-LED headlamps along with LED DRLs. On the side, the vehicle gets 16-inch alloy wheels with black claddings. Besides this, the Gurkha features a functional snorkel that basically helps the SUV with a water-wading capacity of 700mm. Towards the rear end, the SUV gets a new set of tail lights. There is also a ladder to access the roof-mounted luggage carriers. 


2021 Force Gurkha: Interior

The cabin of the 2021 Gurkha boasts of the all-black interior. It further gets captain seats in the second row. The feature highlights include a 7-inch infotainment unit compatible with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a three-spoke steering wheel, a fixed large panoramic window for the rear seat passenger, and powered front row windows. 

2021 Force Gurkha: Engine Specifications

Performance-wise, the new Gurkha is powered by a 2.6-litre diesel engine that churns out a top power of 90 bhp and a peak torque of 250 Nm. The engine is further mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Besides this, the Gurkha comes with an AWD system that further features manually operated, mechanical differential locks on all four wheels. It is also capable of driving up a 35-degree incline. Suspension duties are taken care of by independent double-wishbone upfront and a rigid axle at the rear with coil springs all around.
