1. It’s got a hybrid powertrain:
The car uses a 2.5-litre petrol engine mated to an electric motor that makes a total of 197hp and 210Nm. The engine is mated to an e-CVT gearbox and it also features regenerative braking.
2. There are two versions on offer:
Luxury and F-Sport are the two versions on sale. The Luxury variant is the cheaper car, but gets exclusive bits like seat ventilation and electric recline adjustment for the rear seats. The F-Sport variant is for people who want a sportier version. It comes with paddle-shifters, aluminium pedals and an engine sound generator.
3. There is loads of kit:
You also get the following - LED lights; electric folding and adjustable exterior mirrors with memory and heaters; panoramic glass roof; 360-degree camera; heads-up display; and safety features such as 8 airbags and vehicle stability control; 18-inch alloy wheels; eight-way electrically adjustable front seats with memory; electric tailgate with kick-sensor and a 10.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display with a 14-speaker Mark Levinson audio system.
4. It promises to be very fuel-efficient:
The car offers an ARAI-tested fuel economy of 18.32kpl. This is thanks to the use of the hybrid drive-train.
5. At ₹53.18-55.58 lakh, it is good value for money:
The Luxury variant costs ₹53.18 lakh while the F-Sport variant is priced at ₹55.58 lakh. It’s rivals are priced as follows (top-spec variants): BMW X3 (₹54.00 lakh), Mercedes GLC (₹51.73 lakh), Volvo XC60 (₹55.9 lakh) and Land Rover Discovery Sport (₹55.47 lakh) (all prices, ex-showroom India).
