Amidst the downturn in the Automobile Industry, Jaguar has silently upgraded their F-Type. As per the information available on the official website, 2020 Jaguar F-Type Facelift price starts at Rs 95.12 Lakh (ex-showroom), India. The new F-Type gets a styling upgrade with an updated BS6 compliant petrol engine. Jaguar F-Type will be offered in a convertible and coupe form in the Indian market.
Design-wise, Jaguar F-Type Facelift comes with elongated LED headlights with J-type Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and all-new LED tail lamps. F-Type Facelift features a new front grille with a long, muscular clamshell bonnet having a power bulge and air vents. Jaguar puts a lot of effort into making the interior stand out in the premium segment of vehicles and F-Type Facelift doesn’t disappoint. Its interior highlights are a new 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The driver also gets a new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The cabin lighting comes in 5 different colours with F‑TYPE performance seats that are 12‑way adjustable with an option for heating or cooling. With the Jaguar Remote App, you can check fuel levels, pinpoint the vehicle’s location, conveniently lock/unlock the car and control climate remotely.
The base petrol engine is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged unit, delivering 297 bhp of maximum power. The top of the range is a 5.0- litre Supercharged V8 coming in two states of tune. The engine generates 444 bhp of maximum power and 580 Nm of peak torque. In another tune, the engine will churn out 567 bhp power with 700 Nm of torque. The engine is matted to an 8-speed automatic transmission. 2020 Jaguar F-Type 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 having 580 bhp can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds.
In terms of safety features, there are dual front air-bags and seat belt pretensioners that automatically tighten the seat belts in rapid deceleration. Other equipment on-board comprise of Lane Assist, Rear Camera, Cruise Control, Park Assist and Speed Limiter. 2020 Jaguar F-Type Facelift will come in 9 different variants across six trims.
