Mahindra TUV300 - West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra

The Mahindra TUV300 (pronounced as TUV three double O) is a sub-compact SUV manufactured by the Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra since 2015. The TUV  stands for Tough Utility Vehicle and is apt for traffic patrolling. Used by different states, Mahindra TUV 300 is built on the same platform as the Mahindra Scorpio. Powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine, the sub-compact SUV delivers 100 bhp of power and 240 Nm of peak torque. With an expected fuel mileage of 19 Kmpl, the TUV 300 is a fuel-efficient vehicle.

 


Ford EcoSport - Andhra Pradesh

India was the first few markets to receive the Ford EcoSport. It comes with two engine options - a diesel and a petrol. The 1.5 litre BS6 diesel engine generates 99 bhp of power and 215 Nm of peak torque as it comes with a 5-speed manual transmission. While the 1.5-litre petrol engine churns out 120 bhp of maximum power and 149 Nm of peak torque. It is paired to a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. With an impressive performance and ground clearance, it is suitable for the state police department.


Mahindra Bolero - Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra and Karnataka Police

Mahindra vehicles are big favourites of the Indian Police departments with Bolero used by States like Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra and Karnataka. The New BS6 Mahindra Scorpio draws power from the same 2.2 litre 4-cylinder diesel engine which generates an output of 140bhp and highest torque performance of 320Nm. A tough machine, it’s adopted by various police departments and foreign law enforcement agencies too.

 


Maruti Ertiga - Delhi, Karnataka, Haryana, Chandigarh and Maharashtra Police

Maruti Ertiga has been a big hit in India since its launch among the Indian consumers. Even, the State Police Department of Delhi, Haryana and Maharashtra are deploying it for controlling traffic and maintaining law & order. Is offered in four trims namely L, V, Z, and Z+. Maruti Ertiga 2020 is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine delivering 105 bhp power and 138 Nm torque. It offers a 5-speed manual gearbox along with a 4-speed automatic transmission as an option. The CNG variant uses the same petrol powertrain but it comes without the Smart Hybrid Technology.
