Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is making waves since its debut in the Indian market last month. Based on a completely new chassis and powered by an all-new engine, Royal Enfield is leaving no stone unturned to become the first option for buyers in the cruiser motorcycle segment. Meteor 350 is just the beginning as the manufacturer reportedly plans to launch 28 new bikes in the coming 7 years. For bike enthusiasts across the world, Royal Enfield Motorcycles are quietly emerging as an exciting option thanks to their unique exhaust sound, retro looks and powerful engines. We call the Meteor 350 as a cruiser bike due to to the forward-set footpegs and raised handler bar but it’s not a traditional cruiser in a way like the Bajaj Avenger is. Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is a blend of a cruiser and street bike.

For our readers interested in knowing more about Meteor 350 as a traditional cruiser, we brought for yoy a digital rendering of the same. A video uploaded by our friends at SRK Designs, Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has been digitally rendered as a low-slung cruiser bike. At the beginning of the video, we are introduced to the entry-level Fireball variant. First, according to the rendering there are slanting front forks while adding a few degrees to the rake angle. The turning radius is increased while the stock handlebar is swapped with a customized one. This in turn leads a proper cruiser appearance to the rendered bike. At the rear, the tail section gets a makeover with the brake light positioned lower than the one seen on the stock motorcycle. Further, the new taillights are inspired by iconic Harley-Davidson Motorcycles.

The designers have stretched the wheelbase alongside the rider’s seat. Another notable change is that the split seat gives way to a single piece unit. Overall, the Meteor 350 gets a cruiser look thanks to a bigger handlebar and stretched wheelbase. The Meteor 350 Cruiser comes in a black colour  paint option with golden pinstriping. On the sides, the Meteor badge has been done away with as it features only an RE moniker on the fuel tank.

The digital rendering looks superbly classy in every aspect, it heightens the excitement of bike enthusiasts. In fact, Royal Enfield is believed to be working on a low-slung cruiser motorcycle which is expected to be powered by the current 648cc parallel-twin air-cooled engine. If the pricing of the bike is around Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom, India) as imagined, it could easily become the most affordable mid-displacement cruiser motorcycle in India. The upcoming cruiser bike is rumoured to be named as Royal Enfield Roadster 650. It will be coming with features like turn-by-turn navigation, phone charging, Bluetooth connectivity among many others.
