Triumph Motorcycle India has postponed the launch of the new 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS due to the coronavirus outbreak. It was all set to launch digitally on March 25 across the country. But with the fears of coronavirus pandemic becoming worse in the country, new launch date will be announced after the 31st of March 2020. The outgoing model is priced at Rs 11.13 lakhs (Ex-Showroom). The new model is now expected to get a price hike of Rs 40,000 on the Ex-Showroom price.

Under the frame, the New Triumph Street Triple RS gets an updated engine that meets the latest Euro 5 and BS6 emission regulations. It will be powered by a 765cc in-line three-cylinder engine that will churn out 121 bhp power @ 11,750 rpm and 79 Nm peak torque @ 9,350 rpm.

2020 New Triumph Street Triple RS will be available in two colour schemes namely matte jet black with aluminium silver and yellow decals, and silver ice with diablo red and aluminium silver decals. It will feature bi-directional quick shifter as standard. The rider modes present in the New Street Triple RS have been tweaked for better performance.

Visually, the 2020 Street Triple RS retains the same dimensions, silhouette and chassis. Other subtle changes include the new LED headlight with LED DRLs giving it a hint of aggressiveness and fresh appeal. The TFT instrument console comes with a new design. Its body panels, flyscreen, side panels, seat cowl and belly pan have all been updated.
