About Volvo Cars

Volvo is a Sweden based company owned by the Chinese conglomerate Li Shufu, it was established in the year 1927 and headquartered in Hisingen, in Gothenburg. Volvo Cars were founded as the ball bearing manufacturing SKF. When the company was introduced on the Stockholm Stock exchange in 1935, SKF sold most of its shares in the company which made Volvo a large shareholder.
