Hyundai India had launched the new generation Grand i10 Nios in 2019 with 3 engine options - two petrol and one bi-fuel with CNG. Both the petrol engines were updated to meet the new stringent BS6 vehicular norms. The eye-catching news was the introduction of a BS6 compliant 1.0L Turbo GDi petrol engine. It is marginally lower than the entry-level 1.2 Kappa VTVT Petrol engine's 20.70kmpl. Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is the first vehicle in its segment to offer a turbocharged petrol engine.
