The Mahindra XUV300 has garnered 4000 bookings ahead of its launch this month

The Mahindra XUV300 is about to launch to give a tough competition in the compact SUV segment. The new compact SUV from Mahindra looks very promising as it is based on the SsangYong Tivoli and comes with a lot of new segment first features. Since it is a Mahindra, we also expect it to have a competitive price tag.

The Indian carmaker has already got 4000 bokings of the XUV300 ahead of its launch this month. It will be offered with both 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. The XUV300 will compete with the likes of the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon. With the amount of features it has got, it can also compete with cars a segment above.

The Mahindra XUV300 will come with front parking sensors, dual zone climate control system, steering modes, heating ORVMs, seven airbags and much more. If the Indian carmaker prices it well as expected, the segment could have a new leader. It will be offering 17 km/l fuel efficiency for the petrol and 20 km/l for the diesel engine.
