The Japanese marque Honda is offering the all-new CR-V in four driving modes: Snow, Eco, Normal, and Sport.

Honda has debuted the all-new hydrogen powered CR-V electric in the United States of America. The 2025 CR-V e:FCEV is manufactured by General Motors and Honda. It is the first plug-in hydrogen-powered electric vehicle in America. The Japanese marque Honda is offering the all-new CR-V in four driving modes: Snow, Eco, Normal, and Sport. 

With a full hydrogen tank, the Honda CR-V e:FCEV gets an amazing range of over 600 km, and it can go an extra 60 km on battery power. The innovative fuel cell system equipped in the new electric model was developed by Honda and General Motors’ joint venture (JV) company, Fuel Cell System Manufacturing.

The all-new SUV comes with the benefits of fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), including quick refueling and long driving range. The new model combines the ease of plug-in charging at home or while traveling, which makes it a much better option than both battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and traditional petrol-powered hybrids. The CR-V e:FCEV has a swift hydrogen refueling duration of about 3 minutes.

In terms of exterior design, the hydrogen fuel cell EV features new body panels, rear fascia, unique designs for the liftgate, and 18-inch, 10-spoke black wheels. The EV comes with a long hood that provides it with a unique low upright grille design and is aggressively streamlined. This zero-emissions version can be easily identified as a CR-V as it has signature vertical taillights.

The 2025 Honda CR-V e:FCEV is loaded with several updated features, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 10.2-inch digital instrument console, a 9-inch touchscreen central infotainment system, wireless phone charging, and more. The hydrogen fuel cell EV gets other amenities like power-adjustable heated front seats, a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, a heated steering wheel, a powered tailgate, twin-zone climate control, bio-based leather seat upholstery, and parking sensors.

Powering the CR-V e:FCEV is a 17.7 kWh battery followed by a single motor, which is mounted at the front. The motor produces 174 bhp of power and a peak torque of 310 Nm. While the fuel cell version comes with a power output of 92.2 kW.
