The all-electric BMW i4 is all set to launch in the country on May 26

BMW India unveiled the i4 electric sedan in the country. Having said that, the vehicle will be launched in India on May 26. We can expect the new BMW i4 to be sold in a total of two variants in the country namely the eDrive40 and M50 xDrive. The automaker showcased the eDrive40 variant in India. Furthermore, i4 is the BMW Group’s third all-electric vehicle in the country.


Cosmetically, the all-electric i4 is quite similar to the combustion engine counterpart - the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe. It is based on the CLAR architecture. The design bits include a blanked-off front grille, aero-optimized wheels, flush door handles, tweaked front & rear bumpers, and blue accents. Dimensionally, the BMW i4 stands at 4783mm in length, 1852mm in width, and 1448mm in height. The vehicle comes with a 2856mm wheelbase.
