About Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine

Mercedes-Benz is a very popular brand across the globe. The brand is identified by its three-point star logo and owns many small companies as subsidiaries. The brand was founded in the year 1926 by Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler. The company now caters the high spenders as it manufactures performance, luxury, SUVs and Supercars. Currently, as a single parent company the brand manufactures only 3 supercars under the AMG label. These supercars feature powerful engines, sporty looks and luxurious interiors.

  • Mercedes-Benz SLC: SLC stands for ‘SL’ Sportlich Leicht that means "Sport Light" in German and C stands for class thus meaning Sports Light Class. The SLC is a convertible roadster version of the AMG series. The car has roadster body profile with a good setback passenger compartment. Along with the air vents on the front grille the car features a fin on the side in high-gloss chrome that reminds of the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL. The roof of the car has a panoramic window that opens in less than 20 seconds. Mercedes-Benz focuses a lot on the safety features that it provides in the cars. The SLC has an active braking system that assists the driver while driving to avoid accidents. SLC also features the lane assist programme that notifies the driver in case of unintended lane switch. The car runs on the 3.0-litre V6 bi-turbo engine that generates power upto 367hp and 520Nm torque. The immensely powerful engine makes the car go from 0-100kmph in 4.7 seconds.
  • Mercedes-Benz GT Roadster: The Mercedes-Benz GT Roadster is a cruising car that is ideal for long drives. The car features a retractable roof that opens in 20 seconds and can be opened at the speed of 40kmph. The car has a long bonnet that has smooth lines that give the car a sporty look. The car has a bulging grille with the brand huge logo in the centre; it also has swept LED headlights that add to the sporty appeal. The car also has the keyless entry feature that enables the driver to open the car by just holding the handle without the key. The car houses a V8 engine that generates power upto 350KW (476hp) / 6000rpm.
  • Mercedes-AMG GT R Coupe: The Mercedes-AMG GT R Coupe is the hard roof version of the GT series. The design of the cars is similar to the GT roadster. The front of the car features the bulging grille with vertical slats and the brand logo in the centre. The smooth lines on the bonnet add to the sporty aesthetics of the car. It also features the same V8 engine that generates power upto 430 kW with the rated output (585 hp) and 700 Nm torque to rear axle, and the car can go from 0-100 kmph in 3.6 seconds.

When it comes to Mercedes-Benz, the cars are focused not only on speed but other factors like safety, style and performance. There are many Mercedes-Benz supercars in India as these cars offer great performance on the Indian roads too.
