Land Rover is a UK based company which was recently acquired by the Tata group of India in the year 2008. The company was founded by Maurice Wilkes in the year 1947; the company was started at Newborough, Anglesey, England in Maurice’s farm. The brand later got the Royal Warrant from King George VI in 1951 and became the British icon. Land Rovers are currently assembled in England, India, China, and other markets. The brand currently manufactures models like Discovery, Freelander, Range Rover and Range Rover Evoque.
