Royal Enfield will now service motorcycles at your doorstep from July 2020

Coronavirus outbreak sees no sign of slowing down with India registering 38,000 plus cases in a single day. Since the beginning of 2020, India has been plagued by the deadly virus. The Central Government had to enforce a nationwide lockdown for more than a month to contain the transmission of COVID-19. Restrictions still remain in several places as the authorities chart out strategies to eradicate the virus. Businesses continue to operate while following the necessary safety guidelines laid down by the Central and State Government. Royal Enfield has grown spectacularly in the last decade or so in India on the back of new motorcycle model introductions. Recently, the two-wheeler automaker brought out a series of new initiatives for improving customer engagement while providing convenience and safety in equal measure. Chennai based motorcycle giant introduced a new program called Contactless Purchase and Service Experience.

Now Royal Enfield has launched ‘Service on Wheels’ for its customers. The fleet of motorcycles comes with necessary tools, genuine spare parts and equipment to undertake servicing , repair and maintenance at the customer’s doorstep. The 'Service on Wheels' will perform the duty of Roadside Assistance Vehicles. The unique home delivery service according to the brand is available across all service centres pan India from July onwards. Service centres and dealerships are trying to minimize physical interaction, the mobile fleet will be helpful in providing instant service at customer’s residences. The fleet is made up of customized bikes based on the Royal Enfield 350 Trials. Further, the company is regulating the number of service appointments at its dealerships to avoid overcrowding. Customers need to pre-book their service appointments and wait for approval on the same.  This will help avoid inconvenience and provide better satisfaction of service. 

 
The trained technicians will arrive at the customer’s doorsteps to carry out the various service and repairs. This whole process follows Government Health Guidelines in regards to COVID-19. The customers can make the payment online for a contactless service. Royal Enfield recently announced extended warranty schemes for its customers. BS4 and BS6 motorcycle owners can avail the ‘Royal Enfield Secure' services. The scheme is also valid for the owners of the discontinued 500cc bikes too.
