The company recorded its highest-ever monthly registration of 35,000 units in February 2024.

Ola Electric announced that it has extended the discount schemes on its S1 range till the end of March. The two-wheeler giant has been offering attractive offers on the S1 Pro, S1 Air, and S1 X+ electric scooters since the start of 2024. After the price reduction, the Ola S1 e-scooters are available with a discount of up to INR 25,000. The entry-level S1 X (2KWh) model is not part of this discount offer.

In the Indian market, the S1 Pro is priced at INR 1,47,499 (ex-showroom), after the price cut, the scooter is available at a price of INR 1,29,999 (ex-showroom). The Ola S1 Air, on the other hand, was originally priced at INR 1,19,999 (ex-showroom); now the auto giant is offering this scooter at an attractive price of INR 1,04,999 (ex-showroom). The S1 X+ has received the highest discount, which makes it INR 25,000 cheaper than before. The electric scooter is now priced at INR 84,999 (ex-showroom). The S1 X+ is now priced below the S1 X (3 kWh).

Additionally, for the entire range of products, the EV maker is providing an 8-year/80,000-km extended battery warranty at no additional cost. The brand is also planning to expand its service network by 50%, increasing the current 414 centres to a total of 600 across the nation by April 2024.

With the recent move, Ola is aiming to attract potential customers and raise its sales figures. It will also boost overall electric vehicle adoption in India. Ola Electric is also gearing up to unveil four new e-motorcycles: the Roadster, Cruiser, Adventure, and Diamondhead.

In February 2024, the company hit its highest-ever monthly registrations of 35,000 units. The EV startup has now gained a market share of 42%. In the last three months, the company has received close to one lakh registrations. From December to February, Ola clocked more than 30,000 units. In December 2023, the company reached a significant milestone by becoming the first EV two-wheeler (EV 2W) maker to register 30,000 units in one month.

Commenting on the brand’s recent achievements, the Chief Marketing Officer at Ola Electric Technologies Private Limited, Anshul Khandelwal, said, “We have seen consistent growth in our registrations and market share, and have firmly maintained our leadership position in the market. We are confident in continuing our market leadership with best-in-class products and a strong EV infrastructure. With our industry-first offering of 8-year/up to 80,000 km extended battery warranty, increasing number of charging points, and widespread service centres, we are breaking all barriers in the EV adoption.”
