The festive season offer on Okinawa electric scooters is valid from October 24, 2020 to November 15, 2020

Okinawa has announced an array of festive offers on its whole range of EV scooters in India. To celebrate the festive season, the manufacturer is also conducting a draw in which 10 lucky buyers will get a gift. Additionally, one lucky buyer will get the chance to take home the R30 electric scooter. The exclusive offer is valid from October 24, 2020 to November 15, 2020. The company will announce the winner of the lucky draw on November 30, 2020. It is offering assured gifts on every booking made in the festive period. The festive cheer doesn’t end here as Okinawa is further throwing in a gift voucher of Rs 6000 with every online and offline booking. Currently, the Indian EV manufacturer sells 9 products in the domestic market consisting of both lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries.

Recently, the brand started online booking of scooters through its website. The buyers can also purchase custom theme painted scooters. Professional artists have designed the themes with hands using high-quality paints.

“Due to pandemic, a lot of industries faced slowdown including automobile. However, after lockdown got lifted, we received an overwhelming response from our customers. Now that people are opting for personal vehicles following social distancing, they are getting inclined towards EVs. Witnessing this shift from ICE to EV in the society deserves a huge acknowledgement. The offers from Okinawa intend to share the same spirit with the customers while we together embark towards the larger aim of the pollution-free country,” said Mr Jeetender Sharma- MD, Okinawa.

Okinawa is also working on its first electric bike Oki100. The manufacturer's plans to launch the bike was severely hampered by the COVID-19 outbreak. Dubbed ‘Oki100’, the e-bike prototype was first showcased two years ago at the 2018 Auto Expo. The price of Oki100 isn’t revealed by the company but we expect it to be priced competitively around Rs 1 lakh (Ex-showroom, India).
