Mahindra Bolero Neo features several exterior updates and minor interior upgrades.

Mahindra & Mahindra has finally launched the Bolero Neo at a starting price of Rs 8.48 lakhs (ex-showroom) in India. It will be available at the authorised Mahindra dealerships from today onwards. The seven-seater SUV is offered in a total of three variants - N4, N8, and N10. An optional N10(O) with Multi terrain technology (Manual Lock differential) will be launched sometime in future.

The newly launched Bolero Neo borrows design cues from the standard Bolero in terms of a clamp-shell bonnet,  a thick plastic cladding that runs along the length of the SUV, and squared-off & marginally flared wheel arches. In terms of design, the new Bolero Neo flaunts Mahindra’s new six-slat chrome grilled design upfront. It features revised headlamps with sleek LED DRLs. In addition, it gets a reworked front bumper with new fog lamps. On the side, the SUV gets blacked-out C-Pillar, while the D-Pillar is body coloured. It rides on new dual five-spoke alloy wheels finished in silver. However, it misses out on the roof rails. Moving towards the rear end, the Bolero Neo gets a new X-type spare wheel cover with ‘Bolero’ branding and a spoiler.

Moving inside the cabin of the Bolero Neo, it features a new instrument cluster with re-worked dials and a new MID screen in between. The cabin further boasts of new beige fabric upholstery with a textured effect. Other features include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, a new tilt-adjustable power steering wheel, steering mounted audio controls, arm rest for the second row seats, air conditioning with Eco mode, height adjustable driver ’s seat, cruise control, and electronically adjustable ORVMs. The safety kit comprises dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reversing parking sensors, CBC, and optional ISOFIX mounts.

“The Bolero brand has witnessed strong loyalty and ruled Indian roads for over two decades now. With this product we have combined the customers’ affinity towards brand Bolero with their modern outlook, persona and aspirations. The design, performance and engineering enhancements in the new Bolero Neo blend well with the authentic Bolero DNA, making it suitable for the bold and fearless Young Bharat. The addition of Bolero Neo to the Bolero SUV brand portfolio will help us retain Bolero amongst the top 10 selling SUVs in the country,” as commented by Veejay Nakra, Chief Executive Officer, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd.

The SUV further gets a dedicated Eco drive mode for maximizing fuel efficiency.  The new Bolero Neo is offered in a total of seven color options namely Rocky Beige, Majestic Silver, Highway Red, Pearl White, Diamond White, Napoli Black and Royal Gold.
