Renault India, reaffirming its commitment to 'Make in India', has begun the exports of Kiger sub-compact SUV to Nepal. The company said that it will expand exports of Kiger to various other countries in the SAARC region soon. The first batch of 122 units of Renault Kiger will be offered in Nepal through Renault’s distributor - Advanced Automobiles Pvt. Ltd, part of Vaishal Group which is one of the largest groups in Nepal. The French brand has an extensive coverage with 15 sales and 13 service outlets across Nepal.
Renault Kiger is offered in four trim levels namely RXE, RXL, RXT & RXZ. It is available in single-tone as well as dual-tone color options while designed collaboratively by Renault designers in France and India. The SUV is developed and produced in India, for Indian customers first, before it is taken globally. The Kiger can be availed with two engine options 1.0L Energy & 1.0L Turbo with 2 pedal offerings on each of the engine. It is the fourth vehicle in the company's portfolio to go on sale in India after Duster, Kwid and Triber. Currently, Renault India has more than 500 sales and service touchpoints in India, which include 200+ Workshop On Wheels locations across the country.
