Honda Skill Enhancement Centers are now 49 in number spread across 19 states with Haryana’s fourth center at Uchana

Honda India Foundation - the CSR arm of all Honda Group Companies in India has collaborated with Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Uchana Khurd. Under this partnership, Honda India Foundation inaugurated a new building for the Skill Enhancement Center in Uchana. Having said that, the new center will be operational from today onwards. It is spread across 1200 square feet. Furthermore, the new center will empower the local youth with job-oriented technical skill training in the city.


“I thank all the representatives of Uchana and the young trainers associated with the Skill Enhancement Centre for this development. I extend my gratitude to the management of Honda for skilling and providing their latest two-wheelers for practical training on maintenance & repair. I am also happy to share that the first 20 vacancies for the center in Uchana got filled on the first day itself and more students want to join this program. I am confident that such training will enhance the techniques of our local youth and make them more efficient with all the latest technologies including the recent BSVI engines,” as commented by Dushyant Chautala - Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Haryana.

Talking about Honda India Foundation’s Skill Enhancement Centre at Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Uchana Khurd, it has a fully functional workshop with two-wheelers. Besides that, it also comes with service infrastructure and the latest tools & technology that further gives hands-on training to students on technical aspects of two-wheelers’ maintenance and repair. The training also provides them with job opportunities at two-wheeler dealerships across India.
