Ferrari has unveiled the Competizione 812 and 812 Competizione A (Aperta) in Italy. Enrico Galliera, Ferrari’s Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer, officially unveiled the 812 Competizione and 812 Competizione A at the new GT Sporting Activities Department located next to the Fiorano track while the event was live-streamed on Ferrari’s social media channels. As for the styling, both the limited edition models come with several identical elements such as front bumper, splitter and carbon blade running across the bonnet. The 812 Competizione coupe boasts of an aluminium structure in place of the rear window which lends it a new silhouette and fastback-styled appearance. On the other hand, the 812 Competizione A - being a convertible, features typical Ferrari styled flying buttresses and an inbuilt spoiler. The duo gets a huge diffuser at the rear while the exhaust pipe too has been repositioned.

The Competizione 812 is nearly 38 kgs lighter than the 812 Superfast on which it is based. They have been powered by Ferrari's naturally aspirated 6.5L V12 petrol engine which develops a top power of 818bhp at 9250rpm and peak torque of 692Nm at 7000rpm. The power output has been increased by 30bhp as compared to the standard 812 Superfast. With the power output of 818, it is the most powerful series production V12 Ferrari engine ever.
