The all-electric luxury sedan gets the M treatment, and the electric motor and other features make this luxury sedan more dynamic in terms of handling.

BMW India has finally launched the long awaited brand-new i7 M70 xDrive luxury sedan in India. This is the most powerful model of BMW. The BMW i7 M70 xDrive launched today is available at a price of INR 2.50 crore (ex-showroom). This all-new electric sedan joins the other electrified luxury cars, such as the i4 M50 and iX M60. The BMW i7 M70 xDrive comes with a big enlightened front grille along with vertical slats, flush door handles, slim LED tail lamps, a double-tone exterior paint scheme, and split LED headlamps with DRLs.

In India, German automaker BMW has introduced a new M70 xDrive version of its all-electric i7 sedan. This sedan has become the first all-electric M car to be launched in India, and it gets the M treatment. The electric motor and other features make this luxury sedan more dynamic in terms of handling. The BMW i7 M70 xDrive will rival the Mercedes-AMG EQS. BMW has also launched the 740d M Sport, which is priced at INR 1.81 crore (ex-showroom).

On the grille, the new M70 xDrive has the M logo and other features, including front side panels, side skirts, a rear spoiler, and ORVMs. The i7 gets 21-inch M light-alloy wheels, and the M70 xDrive trim is equipped inside the cabin with a dual-display for instrument and infotainment clusters, a wireless charger, multi-zone climate control, and gesture control.

The i7 M70 luxury sedan has a Bowers and Wilkins-sourced music system accompanied by 36 speakers. On the interior, the i7 M70 xDrive includes features such as a touch-enabled bar that provides controls like air conditioning and ambient lighting. On the rear doors, the luxury sedan has 5.5-inch touchscreen control panels, and for the rear passengers, it gets a 31.3-inch 8K retractable touchscreen. Other safety features like six airbags, Integral Active Steering, Active Roll Stabilization, and a Driver Assistance System are also available in the luxury sedan. The interior of the luxury sedan has a Piano Black Theme accompanied by silver stitching. The BMW i7 M70 xDrive comes with M door sills, M leather steering wheel, BMW Curved Display, M-specific footrest, and M Merino leather trim.

Under the hood, the BMW i7 M70 xDrive is powered by a twin-motor setup, getting power from a 101.7 kWh battery, and in a single charge, this battery assures a range of up to 560 km. These dual motors can produce a maximum power output of 657 bhp and 1,100 Nm of torque. In just 3.7 seconds, the i7 M70 xDrive electric sedan can ride from 0 to 100 kmph with an electronically reserved top speed of 250 kmph. A free wall box charger will be provided to customers, and it can charge up to 22 kW.
