Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace price could start around Rs 35 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom).

Volkswagen India is all set to launch the Tiguan Allspace SUV on March 6, 2020 in the country. This seven-seater premium SUV was showcased at the Auto Expo in February 2020. After receiving an overwhelming response from both the print and online media, the German automaker opened its pre-booking on the first day of Auto Expo. Competing against the likes of Honda CR-V, Skoda Kodiaq, Toyota Fortuner, and Ford Endeavor, this premium SUV is expected to be priced around Rs 35 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom).


Under the hood, this seven-seater SUV will have a BSVI compliant 2.0L turbocharged petrol motor that outputs 190 bhp max power and 230 Nm peak torque. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The SUV comes with a 4Motion all-wheel-drive-system that helps to deal with the toughest and hardest roads by transferring precise traction to all four wheels ensuring optimum efficiency.


Despite being longer & taller than the standard Tiguan, this Allspace SUV shares the same width. In terms of cosmetic updates, not many changes have been made to this larger version on the exterior front.


The interiors of the SUV are carried over from the ongoing model except for the addition of the third-row seats thus offering a luggage area of 230L. The cabin inside boasts of Vienna leather seats along with an active info display. Other highlighted features include a touchscreen infotainment system, a 3-zone climatronic AC, a multifunction steering wheel and a panoramic sunroof. Be safe while driving with Allspace SUV’s safety features like seven airbags, ABS, ESP (Electronic Stabilisation Programme), TPMS (Type Pressure Monitoring System), and reverse parking camera.
