Triumph Motorcysles is bringing segment-first triple-cylinder naked bike in early 2021

The Triumph Trident design prototype was revealed recently at the London Design Museum. The prototype bore to fruition after a 4-year development program at Triumph Motorcycles design facility in the UK. The striking point of the bike is the delicate combination of minimalist form, Triumph signature design and Speed triple muscular poise. The Trident prototype reveals the style and design of in-the-works middleweight Triumph roadster. This new model is expected to arrive at dealerships by early 2021. There is not much known but we believe in the coming days we could perhaps get a clearer picture on this product.

‘’The Trident design prototype marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Triumph, where the brief was all about fun, from the look to the ride. With its pure minimalist form, clean lines, Triumph design DNA and more than a hint of our Speed Triple’s muscular poise, this gives the first exciting glimpse at the full Trident story to come. Ultimately our aim was to bring a new take on character and style, alongside the accessible easy handling and quality Triumph is known for – at a price that’s really competitive’’, commented Steve Sargent. Triumph Chief Product Officer during the reveal.

Talking about the performance of the Trident, the roadster will be based on the compact muscular and powerful Triumph Triple engine. This models benefits will come to the segment for the first time with the perfect combination of top power and low-down torque. The design prototype gives further indication that the upcoming Roadster would have a perfect integration of modern digital technology in the bike in an elegant way. Another exciting aspect to watch in the Trident will be a natural upright riding position and a better rider ergonomics delivered due to an-all new chassis.

The triple-cylinder motorcycle will compete against the likes of Kawasaki Z650, Honda CB650R in International as well as the Indian market.
