This limited edition by Toyota is only available with a petrol powertrain.

Toyota India has finally launched the limited edition of Toyota Innova Hycross in petrol-only GX powertrain. This new model is available at a starting price of INR 20.07 Lakh and goes up to INR 20.22 Lakh (ex-showroom). This price range suggests that this new version of Innova Hycross GX-trim is only costlier by INR 40,000 than its original GX iteration of the MPV. It acquires minimal updates in the exterior and interior body as compared to the standard version.

If you focus over the exterior cosmetic updates, they are quite few to be noticed around. The model gets a new chrome garnish on the radiator grille that runs through the centre. The front and rear bumper plate acquires the newest faux silver skid plates. And when compared to the lower iteration of the GX trim,  this special limited edition of the MPV leaves out garnishes on the bumper and larger alloy wheels that are commonly seen in bigger MPVs.

In its interior, the Toyota Innova Hycross GX limited edition equips a brand-new softly gliding dashboard that boasts a chestnut brown colour, which as of now is standard on the VX trim of the MPV. Even the door trims get the same colour theme. The standard GS trim variant gets black plastic on the door trims and the dashboard.

The fabric seats inside the cabin of the newest limited edition acquires a fresh dual-tone brown and black theme. This MPV is developed in both 7 and 8-seater variants. Other than these mentioned updates, this special edition comes exactly similar to the standard model.

This Innova Hycross limited edition GX trim doesn’t particularly offer anything specific on the mechanical front. And it comes only purely in petrol powertrain. Powering the model is a 2 L naturally aspirated petrol engine which is also mated with a CVT. The MPV can churn out maximum power of 169 bhp and a peak torque of 205 Nm. Customers will not be able to get the more fuel-efficient hybrid powertrain on this limited edition.
