Okinawa is coming up with yet another electric scooter and the pre-bookings for the same has commenced. The new scooter is called Okinawa i-Praise. They currently have a product lineup of three electric scooters including Ridge, Ridge+ and Praise. The i-Praise will be the latest addition to their linuep of scooters in the Indian market.
The new Okinawa i-Praise will be very similar to the Praise scooter but it'll have certain changes. The new electric scooter will have a detachable battery along with a few more features. Bookings are open across all the 200+ dealerships in India with a booking amount of Rs. 5000/-.
Okinawa has reduced the timespan of charging to 2-3 hours. The overall weight of the e-scooter has been reduced by up to 40 percent. The new Okinawa i-Praise will have a range of 160 to 180 km per charge. The official launch of the new e-scooter is in January 2019. The initial round is only open for the first 500 pre-bookings and the delivery of the same would begin post the official launch.
