Saurabh Vatsa has been appointed as the deputy managing director of Nissan Motor India. Vatsa, an MBA pursued from the International Management Institute and Delhi University alum, most recently led Stellantis, where he was instrumental in creating and growing the Citroen brand in India. Prior to joining Stellantis, Vatsa worked for General Motors (GM), where he held positions with extending responsibilities in South Korea.
Vatsa will be instrumental in carrying out Nissan India's current transformation plan, directly answering to Managing Director Rakesh Srivastava. The company's efforts to fulfill the Mid-Term Plan (MTP), which calls for the introduction of an electrified vehicle lineup by 2030, are in line with this appointment.
