The Suzuki Connect app allows the owners to access a host of connected car features

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has introduced its advanced intelligent telematics technology - Suzuki Connect, in its Arena models. Earlier, it was launched in Nexa models in 2018. The advanced telematics solution basically offers a connected car experience to Maruti Suzuki car owners with the help of cloud-based services along with OTA updates.

Maruti Suzuki Connect: About and Price

Talking about the price, Suzuki Connect is available at Rs 11,900/-(inclusive of taxes) with a three-year data subscription. All Nexa customers who already have access to Suzuki Connect can renew their subscription at a special price of Rs 2299 for 3 years or Rs 999 for 1 year. Suzuki Connect is built on the pillar of people technology. It basically utilizes a Telematics Control Unit(TCU) that exchanges information through cellular networks that come with a centralized cloud-based server. This is further connected with the customer with the help of the Smartphone app. Furthermore, this technology is very difficult to tamper with as it is well concealed and deeply embedded inside the car.

“In today’s technology-savvy world, it is very important to stay connected as it provides reassurance, a sense of security, and peace of mind. Suzuki Connect aims to bridge this need-gap, by giving an advanced and digitalized experience to our customers. Built on intelligent telematics technology, Suzuki Connect aims to increase user experience through its advanced features. Since its launch at NEXA, Suzuki Connect has been well-appreciated by over 50,000 NEXA customers. A nationwide extensive study was undertaken to understand the challenges faced by the car owners on a daily basis and their expectations from these solutions, like receiving alerts for Tow Away, Intrusion & AC Idling, etc. Suzuki Connect empowers customers with convenience at their fingertips thus enhancing their car ownership experience. We are optimistic that it will be successful with our ARENA customers as well,” as commented by Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited.

Maruti Suzuki Connect: Features

The Suzuki Connect smartphone app is available on both Android and IOS platforms. One can access a plethora of features on it. These include geo-fence, navigate to the car, vehicle security alerts, live vehicle status, preventive assistance, vehicle tracking, and driving behavior analysis.
