Mahindra XUV700 is available in two trim lines - MX Series and AdrenoX Series

Mahindra & Mahindra took the wraps off the all-new XUV700. The SUV is offered in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations. The XUV700 5-seater is retailed at a starting price of Rs 11.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). Bookings for the SUV is expected to begin before the festive season.

The new flagship SUV is offered in two trim lines namely MX Series & AdrenoX Series. The latter is available in a total of three variants - AX3, AX5, and AX7. As of now, Mahindra has revealed the prices for four variants in the 5-seater manual-transmission category. The prices for the top-end AX7 trim will be announced at a later date.




Mahindra XUV700: Design & Features

Talking about the entry-level MX Series, it comes equipped with features like an 8-inch infotainment unit compatible with Android Auto, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, steering mounted switches, Smart Door handles, 17-inch steel wheels, LED tail lamps, power-adjustable ORVM with turn indicator, ad day-night IRVM. The AX Series, on the other hand, offers dual HD 10.25-inch screens for the digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa built-in, 6-speakers, AdernoX Connect with 60+ connected features, and sound staging. 

Mahindra XUV700: Engine Specifications

Performance-wise, the new XUV700 comes with the option of both petrol and diesel engine options. The  2.0L Turbo GDi mStallion petrol engine churns out a maximum power of 197 bhp at 5000 rpm and a peak torque of 380 Nm at 1750-3000 rpm. The motor can further be availed with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The 2.2L Commonrail Turbo mHawk diesel engine, on the

other hand, generates power and peak torque in two tunes - 182 bhp & 420 Nm (manual)/450 Nm (Automatic) and 152 bhp and 360 Nm (Manual). Transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
